Each badge is handmade using Earthenware clay.
I use earthenware as my items are decorative and unlike Porcelain it has allowed firing temperature which means using less power which is better for the environment.

I use hand stained slip to create the patterns.
Each badge has two firings in the kiln.

No two badges are ever the same as each is created individually by hand, this also means thickness and shape can vary too.  

The cards the badges are on are also individually painted by my self.
